The Team NOHA Summer Camp is an elite evaluation and identification weekend designed for players born in 2011 competing within the REP stream from A to AAA. Rooted in the proud history of the Team NOHA program and its long-standing tradition of identifying and developing Northern Ontario’s top hockey talent, this camp serves as an important first step in the Team NOHA evaluation process for the upcoming season.
While registration is open to all eligible players, the camp is specifically tailored toward the AAA-level athlete and those seeking to compete at the highest levels within the Team NOHA program. Players interested in participating with Team NOHA during the upcoming season are strongly encouraged to attend, as this weekend provides athletes with an opportunity to be evaluated directly by Team NOHA coaching staff while also experiencing the expectations, pace, and culture of the program.
The camp will be facilitated by Team NOHA coaching staff, giving players and families the opportunity to meet program personnel, learn more about the Team NOHA pathway, and make an important first impression during this initial evaluation weekend. Throughout the event, players will participate in high-tempo on-ice sessions and competitive environments designed to assess skill, hockey sense, compete level, and overall readiness for high-performance hockey.
In addition to the on-ice evaluations, players will also participate in premium off-ice sessions focused on nutrition, mental performance, and introductory weight training — providing athletes with a complete look into the standards and preparation required within elite hockey environments.
Players will also receive:
Team NOHA branded jersey and socks to keep
Team NOHA branded T-shirt and shorts
High-quality onsite meals throughout the weekend
Families attending the camp will participate in Team NOHA presentations outlining the program structure, seasonal process, expectations, and marquee events throughout the year.
The Team NOHA Summer Camp is more than a development opportunity — it is a key evaluation weekend for players aspiring to be part of Team NOHA and represent Northern Ontario at the highest levels of competition.
