Team NOHA Staff Applications

Team NOHA Staff applications are now open.

The events Team NOHA will be attending are the following:

 

  • ALLIANCE Showcase – October 30 – November 1. 

  • OMHA Showcase – December 5-6.

  • OHL Cup – April 5-10.

  • The successful applicant for this position must attend the NOHA showcase February 12-14.

  • The successful applicant for this position must attend the Team NOHA development weekend August 7-9 in North Bay.

We will plan on hosting interviews shortly after the deadline, with a goal of having an individual in place as soon as possible.  

The Head Coach must be either High Performance 1 “Certified” or in process of becoming High Performance 1 “Certified.” The candidate must have Shift forward – Activity Leader or Speak Out Certification and the Gender identity & expression Course. They must have a valid Criminal Record Check with VSS. Must be available for the events listed above, including any additional events added. The candidate must be available to assist the Director of Scouting in player evaluation efforts throughout the 2026/2027 Season.

The Assistant Coach must be Development 1 trained or in the process of. The candidate must have Shift forward – Activity Leader or Speak Out Certification and the Gender identity & expression Course. They must have a valid Criminal Record Check with VSS. Must be available for the events listed above, including any additional events added. The candidate must be available to assist the Director of Scouting in player evaluation efforts throughout the 2026/2027 Season.

This position requires good communication skills and the ability to follow the protocols of the Hockey Trainers Certification Program (HTCP). Must be at least a HTCP Level II Trainer. Priority will be given to Trainers that have HTCP Level III Trainers Certification. The candidate must have Respect in Sport – Activity Leader or Speak Out Certification and the Gender Identity and Expression Course. They must have a valid Criminal Record Check with VSS.

The Director of Scouting must currently have Respect in Sport – Activity Leader or Speak Out Certification and the Gender Diversity Course. They must have a valid Criminal Record Check with VSS. The candidate must have previous experience evaluating players, and be well connected amongst the scouts, specifically within Northern Ontario. The candidate must be available to lead the player evaluation efforts throughout the 2026/2027 season.
