2026-2027 Bench Staff Clinic's Open Now

NORTH BAY- The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) has officially launched registration for 2026–2027 bench staff clinics across the North. Whether you’re stepping behind the bench for the first time or continuing your coaching journey, this is your moment to get certified and ready.

All clinics align with the Hockey Canada National Coach Certification Program (NCCP), ensuring you have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to lead.

With many clinics now offered on demand, it’s easier than ever to complete your certification on your schedule.

New this season

This season introduces important updates for the bench staff:

• The Shift Forward Program becomes the new entry point for new coaches and bench staff (replacing Respect in Sport)

  
  

• The Hockey Canada Safety Program Level 1

These updates are designed to better support safe sport, modern coaching practices, and a more streamlined development pathway. Respect In Sport Activity Leader and qualified Trainer 1 certifications are valid for the 2026-2027 season.
