FUNDraising with Babsocks

Hello NOHA teams,

For the upcoming 2019/20 hockey season the Northern Ontario Hockey Association has partnered with BABSOCKS to bring teams an unforgettable fundraising experience.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

For the past two hockey seasons Babsocks has worked with the Greater Toronto Hockey League to sell socks and raise funds for minor hockey teams, as well as mental health and well being in youth sport.
In the past two seasons minor hockey teams have raised $75,000 for their own seasons, as well as $125,000 for Movember to help support mental health research in youth sport.

HOW IT WORKS

Teams sell Babsocks to raise money for their team as well as the Movember Foundation. Teams sell Black, Blue or White Babsocks for $20.00 with the team keeping $5.00 from every sale and proceeds being donated to the Movember Foundation.
Teams receive socks, 150-1000 units on consignment, which means there is a $0 up front cost for teams to participate.
There will be no charge for unsold socks at the end of the program, teams can simply send socks back at the completion of the program.

PRIZING/INCENTIVES

The top fundraising team of the year wins a on ice practice with Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs; Mike Babcock.
The second and third place team will practice with Stick Handling specialist Pavel Barber.
