NOHA ANNOUNCES PARTICIPATION IN THE 2027 U14 OHL CUP

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) is pleased to announce its participation in the 2027 U14 OHL Cup, taking place April 16–18, 2027, in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The event is tailored specifically for the U14 AAA level and will provide an opportunity for elite players from across Northern Ontario to come together and represent the NOHA on the provincial stage.

Player Evaluation Process

Following the selection of the coaching staff, the NOHA will conduct player evaluations throughout the 2026–27 season.

The evaluation process will include ongoing identification and assessment of U14 AAA players, with the NOHA ultimately looking to conduct either:

• One centralized formal evaluation, or

• Multiple formal evaluations within district areas

These formal evaluations are anticipated to take place throughout the winter months, with further details regarding dates, locations and the evaluation process to be communicated once the coaching staff has been selected.

Coaching Staff Applications Now Open

The NOHA is also accepting applications for the Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions for the 2027 U14 OHL Cup team.

Interested candidates are encouraged to review the application information and submit their applications by the September 28, 2026 deadline.
