The NOHA is proud to announce that the NOHA Most Deserving Official Award will be renamed the Ken Miller Memorial Award.

Ken Miller was a longtime contributor to the NOHA Officiating Program serving as Director of Officials from 1988-1996 and as an Officiating Coach for many seasons up until his passing in 2024. Ken was also the recipient of the OHF Officiating Award in 2006 and the Hockey Canada Officiating Award in 2007.

The Ken Miller Memorial Award is given annually to an Official who played a key role in the Officiating Program within their District; someone who would be sorely missed if they were no longer involved, an Officiating Coach who is always willing to go out and supervise younger Officials, or a person who has assisted with the assigning, instruction, and administration at Development Camps.
