The Kruger Big Assist
The Kruger Big Assist program is back and awarding another $200,000 to help hockey families in need. With this 2023 investment, Kruger will have committed $600,000 to hockey associations in its first three years, and this year, your hockey association could receive up to $75,000! This season, Kruger will be awarding six minor hockey associations each a $25,000 grant (one per region, plus a Wild Card), and one of the six recipients will have the opportunity to receive a Second


Team NOHA Evaluation Camp
43 of Northern Ontario’s top U16 players will gather in North Bay from February 17-19th for a Team NOHA Evaluation Camp. The Camp will take place at West Ferris Arena and the Memorial Gardens. 24 Forwards, 14 Defence, and 5 Goaltenders have been invited to participate in the Camp. Team NOHA staff will be on hand to oversee the weekend which will include practices, intrasquad games, and team building activities. Team NOHA will once again be participating at the OHL Cup in Toro

NOHA Development Weekend 2023
The NOHA is pleased to announce that the Under 14 Development Weekend – open to 2009-born Players within the NOHA – will take place from August 11-13, 2023, at Memorial Gardens in North Bay. Players who participate in this event will get their first taste of the Program of Excellence through a series of practices, games, and off-ice development opportunities. Additional information and registration details will be available by February 15, 2023.

Congratulations to Brock McGillis for being awarded the Herbert Carnegie Trailblazer Award! A Herbert Carnegie Trailblazer Award recipient is an unsung hero in the hockey community who, through their work and leadership in the sport, are paving the way for others, using the sport as a vehicle to create positive change. OHF Bulletin - Spring 2023 Minor Hockey Seasonal Calendar
The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has principally approved Under-10 to Under-18 player evaluations for the 2023-24 season to be conducted during the spring. Associated Regulations will be amended/adopted by the OHF during its Semi-Annual meeting of the Members (February 25). Those Regulations will align with the below requirements. NOHA December Official of the Month!
Congratulations to Harper Coulter, who has been selected as the NOHA’s Official of the Month for December! Harper is currently in his first year of officiating and has officiated up to the U11 House League level. He is currently a player for the U15 ‘A’ Sault Major Blackhawks. Harper was nominated by District 3 Referee-in-Chief, Scott Raycroft. The NOHA will be selecting an Official of the Month based on nominations from District Referees-in-Chief.
