LET'S CELEBRATE HOCKEY

In support of ParticipACTION 150, Hockey Canada is encouraging all Canadians to get out and enjoy Canada’s national winter sport.

All Canadians are invited to celebrate hockey in all its forms on Jan. 28 and post their photos on social media; whether it’s pond hockey, sledge hockey, street hockey, mini-stick hockey or floorball – show Canada through social media by using the following #150PlayList and #HockeyCanada.

"BRING A FRIEND" TO THE RINK

From Jan. 23-29, minor hockey associations from coast to coast to coast are encouraged to have Initiation, Novice and Atom players “bring a friend” to the rink and give the opportunity for friends not in the game to enjoy a fun practice session with their peers.

Confirmed activities will be insured by Hockey Canada, with the following equipment mandatory: helmet and full-face mask, neck guard, gloves and skates.
